Igor Pavlov bounced back from a close miss when he first tried to certify on the Captains of Crush No. 3 gripper to show his utter and complete command in his rematch-making his certification official. He had a near miss not long ago, but in his rematch with the Captains of Crush No. 3 gripper, Igor Pavlov (Russia) left no doubt of his mastery of this legendary gripper.

Impressive. I'm curious, how does someone's size and body weight factor into their "relative grip strength". For example, you'd expect a guy who's 6'4 and 280 to be naturally a lot stronger than a guy who's 5'7 and 140. As someone who's 155lbs. I don't think closing a 4 is within my genetic potential.....so the question is, given that I'm half the size of the guy in this video, if I close a 3, will it be as impressive as him closing a 4? or something like that? Right now I'm between the 2 and the 2.5
